Vanessa Vlad

Professional Translator & Subtitler

My birthplace is Italy, and my family's Romanian heritage is an equally important part of who I am. I grew up navigating two languages and two cultures from day one.

I earned a BA in Foreign Languages and a MA in International Relations (East European & Eurasian Studies). I have worked on translation and localization projects in technical, academic, and industry contexts within the aerospace and entertainment sectors, including subtitling for international media content.

Over the years I have built professional experience across Italy, Luxembourg, Germany, Lithuania, and Ireland, alongside Spain and the United States (remotely), working in translation project management, localization, and subtitling.

Later stages in my career allowed me to combine language expertise with solid grounding in travel and tour coordination, customer service, and hospitality. Today I collaborate with global clients and major entertainment platforms for a variety of projects, bringing organization, professionalism, and a people-centered approach.
